  • We start every formulation with organic butters, oils and extracts to create a deeply nourishing and bioavailable base formula specifically developed for the lip. Formulation inclusions include:

  • After the base formulation is developed, we elevate the formula with biotech ingredients to include further formula treatment properties.

    These ingredients include our modern delivery system of hyaluronic acid. Research suggests that less than 1% of active ingredients in traditional beauty products are able to reach the deeper layers of the skin—where those ingredients need to be to help improve skin quality and function. HIGHR actives are supercharged by micro-molecular delivery systems, so that any skin improving ingredient can reach the depth needed for effectiveness.


  • By using a combination of minerals + lake pigment, we can use the least amount of pigment possible.  If we were to only use mineral pigment, the total percentage would increase to around 10-12% while still not producing a commercially viable color.  We’re not comfortable working at that high of a threshold, so we thoughtfully use a combination of pigment to reduce the overall amount of pigment in our products. 

    This lets us focus on the other 99% of the formula where we replace silicone and plasticizers with organic butters, organic oils and organic extracts, and add in natural-origin biotech ingredients to elevate the total formula.


  • Our delicious primary vanilla scent profile in all HIGHR lip products is a combination of food-grade vanilla flavors, sustainably sourced in Madagascar.  Our flavor partner creates a social & environmental impact in the area and with the farming community in Madagascar, working with 7,000 farmers across the SAVA region to ensure traceability and quality.
